let me start out by saying, I've bought about half a dozen dresses from various online, overseas websites (for everything from gala events to bridesmaids dresses to costume pieces) and, so far JJ's House is my fave.
look at this. look at this right here. this looks fabulous! I'm a member of a band (the Shake-Ups. yes, shameless plug! look us up youtube, spotify, etc!), so this is not just a once-in-a-while, special occasion dress. I put this thing TO WORK. sometimes twelve hour days at conventions. multiple shows. multiple days in a row. this thing has been put through its paces, rolled up in duffle bags, has taken more abuse than any evening dress should, and it still looks great! I'm constantly getting compliments on it. I'm constantly getting stopped at cons for pictures. everyone loves it.
it's definitely sewn to last, I can say that. the ruching, beading, and stitching quality are all grand. the material is lovely and comfortable. I actually couldn't tell that it had a sequined layer when I ordered it. (I can see it now though, when I look really closely at the example pics) I'm pretty sure I squealed a bit when I opened the package and first saw that lovely little surprise. xD I did order a standard size, so I had to have some alterations done. you should always expect that though. even with custom-measured dresses, and even with designer dresses from here in the states.
bottom line? PHENOMENAL. I couldn't be happier. this is a dress that I'm proud to wear on stage. a dress that I hope to keep performing in for a good long while to come. way to go, JJ's! you hit this one out of the park. good job. :)
