The dress is as stunning and unique as it looks in the pictures on the website, I was fantasizing about this dress for a year(!) until I finally ordered it for my graduation. It was my very first time that I purchased an item from JJ'sHouse and I couldn't be happier about my decision to give this online shop a try, I noticed that on your phone or computer screen you have to turn the light up to the max. to see the true colour on the buttom part of this dress, regency (shown in pictures) is more of a violet than a dark blue as it first seems. As I was browsing through the website and was looking at the reviews on the other dresses, I saw that many women recommended to order the custom size which is just a tiny bit more expensive than the regular sizes, so I followed their advise and let a tailor take my measurements (in cm) before I ordered the dress and I'm very glad I did. Even though I gained a bit of weight until I needed the dress, it still fit me like a glove.
After I ordered I compared my measurements to the regular sizes and I realized that my pear shaped body never would have fit in neither of these, because it would be either be too big on my boobs or too small on my hips/butt, and as you can see on the pictures I'm not a fat woman. So ladies I can't stress this enough if you order a dress don't take the risk of it not fitting and order a custom size. It is also a nice feeling when you know that something was made especially for you and it is a lot less expensive to get it made custom size than to pay for alterations afterwards, so please keep that in mind.
The only issue I had with the dress was that I couldn't get my boobs to look as luscious as I would have liked them to look, even though I let the tailor take the measurement as instructed on the website (with t-shirt but without bra underneath) because the dress is made with a built-in bra. I still had to wear a very thick push up bra under the dress and it looked alright the first time I tried it on this way, but on my graduation day I was sitting most of the time, so while I was sitting the dress pulled down the back of my bra even more so that I had almost no support at the end when all the pictures were taken, so the result of this dilema was that I almost looked as flat chested as the model.
I DON'T BLAME JJ'SHOUSE FOR THIS, I'm a small chested girl (70B european size) and strapless bras look ridiculous on me most of the time. I was hoping that the built-in bra + the push up bra would fix the issue, but I knew there was this risk.
The only wish I have for JJ'sHouse is to make their built-in bras more supportive, make removable straps for every dress or find another better solution than I can think of.
I got engaged on the 7. December and I will definitely order 1-2 wedding dresses from JJ'sHouse a soon as I know when the wedding is gonna be. I'm so glad that I found this onlineshop, I just can't say enough positive things about JJ'sHouse, thank you so much!
When I saw the dress the first time, I don't believe you since the price is so cheap, our local dress is much expensive than this. But after chat with your online customer service, i was clear about everything. Hope you can do this better and better.
